COVID-19 stops ‘My Dear’ production

Iranian TV series ‘My Dear’ has stopped production over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Written and directed by Marjan Ashrafizadeh, the series that was planned to air during the holy month of Ramadan has stopped production due to the pandemic crisis. This project stops while the major part of it has been already filmed and there remains only the final scene to be shot.

Although no details on the plot summary of the flick has been published yet, it is said to the media that it enjoys a social romantic story.

ifilm star of ‘Leila’s Loneliness’, Behrouz Shoeibi and Elham Korda, actor in ifilm series ‘The Wrapped Interpretation of a Dream’ costar in the series. 

Amirreza Delavari, Parviz Fallahipour, Maryam Boubani, Roya Hosseini, Giti Qasemi, Haleh Gorji, Maryam Shabani are some other cast members of the flick.

Coronavirus first appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and has since spread globally. The World Health Organization has declared it a global Health emergency.
